Christine Renaud is a Montreal-based social entrepreneur passionate about self-directed and community-based learning. As the CEO of E-180, Christine is in charge of educational direction, sales, funding, partnerships and the community building behind E-180. She’s also currently the product manager.
Prior to E-180, she obtained her M.Ed. as a Frank Knox Fellow at the Harvard Graduate School of Education, focusing on informal learning & alternative educational approaches. In 2008, she worked as a Podcast Producer for Learning Matters in NYC. She is a social media expert consulting for various social projects & founded the #ClavEd, a weekly Twitter meet-up for French-speaking educators that has generated over 30,000 tweets since 2010.
She was recognized in 2006 by L’Actualité Magazine as the most promising young leader in education in Québec. More recently, the Montreal’s Mayor Foundation elected her as a fellow for her work with E-180. She is often invited to share her experience on peer-learning in public events such as #140edu in New York, SXSW Interactive and Ignite in Montreal.
