Olivier Jarda is a third-year BCL/LLB student at McGill University’s Faculty of Law and an activist passionate about the environment. Olivier shared his experience in Environmental Law with Alex, Kristen (our new team member), and Anastasia over a brunch last November. The refreshing conversation inspired all of us to re-evaluate our relationship with our habitat and encouraged us to successfully complete the final projects of the hectic semester.

The newly hired business librarian for the Concordia University Libraries, Michael has a background in both business intelligence and computer science.
From 2011-2013 he led a project, in part funded by a Canadian Association of Research Libraries’ grant, to implement a 3D printing service at the Dalhousie University Libraries in Halifax, Nova Scotia. As part of this project he also led the creation of an open-access, online archive of 3D models, which – in large part – consisted of 3D scans of historic objects from local museum collections.
In addition to 3D printing and scanning, his research has explored the potential for other related technologies, such as 3D animation and holographic projection, to be used as educational tools.
