Michelle Lake has been a Reference & Instruction Librarian at Concordia University since August 2009. She teaches information literacy for Concordia‘s SEL Research Skills credit course, in addition to her position as subject librarian for History. Michelle has also worked at Carleton University Library, as the librarian for English Literature, Art History and Philosophy and in the McMaster University Libraries‘ reference department. Michelle is a graduate of the University of Western Ontario‘s Faculty of Information & Media Studies, where she obtained her MLIS in 2007, and of the University of Guelph, with a BA in English Literature and History. She is an avid social media user and cupcake enthusiast.
